It all started over coffee (and cakes, lots of cakes). Women Who Win is a leading nonprofit media platform that elevates the voices of diverse women across all races, cultures, and backgrounds. We spotlight authentic, inspiring stories that reflect the strength and creativity of women around the world through original interviews, podcasts, webinars, and our book. Join us in celebrating the narratives that drive diversity, inclusion, and equity, curating interviews from entrepreneurs and CEOs to technologists to healthcare providers, artists, activists, and more!

Women Who Win is a free and accessible platform, and is a minority women-owned 501(c) 3 nonprofit company headquartered in Boston, MA.

Meet the Team

Shaleen Sheth

Co-Founder & Co-CEO; Webmaster

Shaleen oversees our website, contributing writer relations, and strategic partnerships. Shaleen is based in Boston, and works full time in e-commerce technology, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Babson College where she studied business and analytics. She is on the Young Professionals Leadership Council for Akshaya Patra [as the Boston chair], the world’s largest mid-day meal program serving schools across India. She was appointed to Saheli Boston’s Advisory Board, making her their youngest advisory board member. With a passion for entrepreneurship, she has also volunteered for the planning committee for Tie Entrepreneurs Boston Conference . She received a Youth Activism Award at the Massachusetts State Commission for Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders at their annual Unity Dinner, and a “Leadership in Nonprofits” award from Akshaya Patra USA. She received a citation from the Massachusetts State Government for “Leadership in Women Empowerment”. She was featured in Boston Business Journal’s “BostInno” 25 under 25 list in 2023. She was selected in the Digital Women to Watch under 25 list by Digital Women Co in 2022 and a finalist for their Digital Women for Good award. Shaleen is passionate about media and technology, and how it can be used to drive organizations forward.

Dr. Deepa Jhaveri

Co-Founder & Co-CEO; Treasurer

An experienced podiatrist, skilled in Clinical Research, Medical Education and Healthcare Information Technology, Deepa has a passion for causes that help uplift women. She has a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University and residency at Plantation General Hospital. She works at Boston Medical Center in Roslindale and serves on their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee as well as Beth Israel Lahey Health and South Boston Community Health Center. She is the President of the Indian Medical Association of New England (IMANE) where she has also run the Indian Women Physicians Forum. She believes Women Who Win is a platform for empowered and like-minded women to strengthen their network and works to empower both her daughters through the inspirational women in this platform.

Dr. Manju Sheth

Co-Founder and President

A Physician at Atrius Health with a passion for media, Dr. Manju Sheth is the President of India New England Multimedia, the New England Choice Awards, and the director of the Woman of the Year Gala. Her Chai with Manju series has featured esteemed guests including Congressman Joe Kennedy, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Neha Kakkar, Sadhguru, Dean Nitin Nohria, Ro Khanna, and Sonu Nigam to name a few and has become a top talk show series for the South Asian community. She has a passion for womens’ causes and was co-chair of the Women’s Forum at the Indian Medical Association of New England (IMANE) She is the community ambassador of Akshaya Patra USA.

She is the co-founder of the New England Choice Awards, a prrestigious award show celebrating the successes and trailblazers in our community. She has been a physician and strong advocate of Women’s health, with experience at Beth Israel Lahey Health, Partners, and Atrius/Harvard Vanguard. She also serves on the hospital’s diversity & inclusion steering committee. She believes Women Who Win is the place to discover the stories and challenges behind successful women.

Lucy Karis

Director of Marketing & Events

Lucy brings background in customer enablement, website development and data analytics. She is passionate about design, yoga, and community service.

Priyanka Dharampuriya

Global Health Contributor

A third-year medical student at Lincoln Memorial University, with a degree in Biology from Tufts University and a Masters in Medical Sciences from Boston University. She is interested in healthcare disparities, health communication, environmental issues, and interesting stories. Priya is very excited to join Women Who Win as a Global Health Contributor and use this amazing platform to foster important conversations about health!

Tamanna Raisinghani

Arts & Entertainment Contributor; Host

Software Engineer by Profession, living in Santa Barbara with husband and 2 daughters since 2004. She is an avid reader and a night owl. She loves to write, be it code or stories (thankfully stories don't break like code. No compilation or runtime errors to worry about!). When not writing, reading or watching TV, she likes to go on walks or hike with her kids.

Punita Kumar-Sinha

Strategy & Global Interview Host

Punita chairs audit, risk, investment, stakeholder relationship committees and many boards. Prior to this, she was Senior Managing Director at Blackstone. She has anchored TV shows on ET Now and hosted many podcasts. We are excited to have her as an interview host for Women Who Win.

Dr. Rollie Lal

Global Policy Contributor; Host

An Associate Professor at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University where she teaches Transnational Security, Foreign Policy, and International Political Economy. Her research focuses on organized crime, terrorism, and religious extremism. Previously she was an Associate Professor at the U.S. Department of Defense and a political scientist at RAND. Dr. Lal received her Ph.D. in International Relations and her M.A. in Strategic Studies from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Rollie brings her expertise as a host for our policy and social impact related content.

Gayatri Aryan

Contributing Writer; Arts & Culture

Gayatri Aryan is a seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in high-tech, finance, and consulting. Currently as Director of Product Development at Dell Technologies, she heads multiple products from inception to intervention. Gayatri values vision and execution while working through startups and Fortune 500 companies alike. Having graduated from MIT Sloan with an Executive MBA, Gayatri is advising multiple startups at the digital juxtaposition. A firm believer in giving back, Gayatri is an active member of various communities: as President-elect for MIT Club of Boston, on her town’s PTO Board, as Chair of Hindi Manch’s Baal-Yuva Vibhaag to name a few. She abodes with her family in Newton, MA.. Check out her exciting mother-daughter book review series on Women Who Win!

Naisha Roy

Editorial Intern

Naisha Roy is a senior at South Forsyth high school and the Copy Editor oher school newspaper, the BirdFeed. She hopes to help every member on staff find their unique voice and transform into journalists. In August, she will attend New York University as a Journalism major. She also interns for the NRI Pulse, an online newspaper where she hopes to gain experience for her dream job as a journalist for the New York Times. She loves acrylic painting, trying to master different cuisines, and stationery. Her current obsessions include Queer Eye and Indo-Chinese food.

Gia Katwa

Editorial Intern

Gia Katwa is a pre-dental student at the George Washington University Honors College studying biology and business and hopes to one day open up her own dental practice. She has always had a passion to help other people and uplift women's voices. Outside of school, Gia works part time as a hostess and volunteers at her local food bank. She loves creating henna designs, cooking pasta dishes, and listening to r&b. 

Dia Arora

Marketing Intern

Dia is excited to work with the rest of the team to spread the messages and stories of inspiring women. When she is not working, she can be found reading a book, painting, or grabbing dinner with my friends. Through this year of interning she is ecstatic to learn and grow, not only as a writer, but as a confident woman as well.

Khushee Nanavati

Content Writer & India Content Strategy

Khushee Nanavati, a double graduate from Brandeis University, is one of our content writers and strategists. She launched her career as an M&A Consultant at the Big 4, soon before diving into the Fintech startup landscape in Expansion Strategy and Operations. When she isn’t networking and shadowing profiles on LinkedIn (for potential WWW profiles ofcourse!), she can be found enjoying squash, running (away from her responsibilities) and reading thrillers!

Victoria Harding

Social Media Manager

Victoria is our social media and content strategist. A graduate of Emmanuel College, she brings experience from Media Girls, an organization empowering women interested in media. We are excited to have her on the team!

Pranjali Mann

Pranjali Mann is a communications and international studies undergraduate student at Simon Frasier University in Canada.
