Mission

Empowering Women By Providing Access to an Essential Resource - Shoes!

Our philanthropic initiative, The Shoe Project, was born with the mission to provide good quality, podiatrist approved shoes & foot health education to populations in need. From homeless shelters to farms and villages, join us in empowering communities one step at a time. We offer partnership opportunities to donate shoes to U.S communities and internationally.

Check out our most recent donations!

At the St Patricks Shelter in Somerville MA, a women’s only emergency shelter. With winter around the corner, we ensured these women had proper footwear to keep their feet warm and protected! Our co-founder, Dr. Deepa Jhaveri, also gave an informational talk on how to keep your feet healthy to the shelter’s residents!

Our pilot program with the Lion’s Club of Juhu (Mumbai) and Indian Medical Association of New England. We partnered with these organizations to donate over 700 pairs of shoes a village in India. Many women in this community have to work in the fields during heavy monsoon seasons and are working barefoot, putting themselves at a higher risk of foot infections. We are excited to help this community be safe and healthy.
